The P-51 was the airplane that escorted the B-17 on German bombing missions. They provided fighter cover protecting the bombers from German fighters. This was likely a demonstration maneuver gone wrong. Air shows are dangerous by nature. A tragedy.

As a jew, I am embarrassed at the behavior of my own people. The outward noncompliance of mask wearing that led to huge numbers of deaths in the city, and the support of a president who supports racism is truly shocking. I am speechless.

Mark, on the right picture is an ATACMS training crater. The left is from yesterday. The right one looks like you could drive the truck in but the left one is big enough to put the entire SU-24 jet inside. The jet is 74 feet and a Ford F150 is under 20ft.

Thank you Oz. Im American, Ukranian, and Jewish and I lived in Israel. I believe in a two state solution and sympathize with Palestinians. There must be a political solution. This was murder, kidnapping, and terrorism on a large scale. There's no excuse.

Since the end of ww2, the United States has spent a great percentage of its annual defence budget preparing for a war with Russia. The amount we are giving to Ukraine to take the Russian military apart is peanuts compared to the total we've spent over the years. A bargain.
