Hi @elonmusk @realDonaldTrump are you there? Trying to reach to remind you of a pending task you seem to have forgotten about. Over 1.8 Million LEGAL immigrants in Tech/Medical/Engineering fields are clogged in the Employment #GreencardBacklog that has a wait time of 190+ years. Biden administration did not make any efforts to clear this backlog. In the past,many relief (EAD/AP) recommendations were rejected by Sec Mayorkas. Biden did though signed an EO to grant legal status to 500000 undocumented last year. We don’t have any lobbyists or a political representation to support our cause. You have acknowledged this as an important issue that needs a closure. We expect you to fix this broken Legal Employment immigration system but in the meantime we request you to issue the much needed EAD/AP reliefs to the applicants who have been waiting for a decade. This will protect our kids who fear self deportation due to age out. India’s Prime Minister @narendramodi should also ask @realDonaldTrump to treat the Indian white-collar Legal migrants humanely as they are clogged in a 150 year wait time in #greencardbacklog & their kids fear self deportation due to aging out. TEN years on an approved I-140. US #Immigration system mainly the Employment category is a fucking mess. Over 1.8 Million Techies,Doctors,Engineers are in #greencardbacklog for over a decade & the wait time for us is 150+ years. The pressure & mental strain is immense as our kids aging out. We don’t have political representation like Undocumented & Illegals. Last year Biden signed an EO that gave legal status to 500000 undocumented only. @elonmusk you supported us,spoke for us.
