It's okay for these British publications to criticize Modi, but the coverage is extremely biased and reflects colonial racism. The same problem exists with some US publications—they completely lack integrity and balance when it comes to covering India—and are almost always wrong.
Fundamental problem that Western publications have with PM Modi is that he does not conform to their weak, spindly legged, supine Hindu stereotype. Each of the character traits attributed to Modi in this piece would have drawn effusive adulation if found in a western leader/CEO.
