This is important to understand. And in its simplest terms, if you get rid of all of the doctors, who will keep the hospital running, so all of the administrators can get paid? I’d like to see the profit and loss statements for every administrator!!!

@preopconsult I hope so. The way the algorithm reads “if “any risk modifier” -> pathway of potential cardiac testing, functional capacity assessment, possible biomarkers, etc.

@preopconsult Has anyone else noticed that HFrEF is not included in the “Risk Modifiers” so if you use the ACS NSQIP (which only tags those with HF exac in last 30 days), patients with HFrEF could get less evaluation than a patient with stable CAD? 🤨
