Each one of these letters is a closing letter on a case we’ve been helping someone with - from paving stones and bus routes to housing and financial hardship.

When I was 14 and a high school teacher taught us about bisexuality, it felt like a massive weight had been lifted off me. How I felt had a name, and it was normal.

I started school in 2002, and throughout my entire education letters home were addressed to Parent/Guardian.
I usually rate the Times but this is just ridiculous, looking for controversy where there is none.
Its standard practice to not refer to "mum's and dad's" when working with kids
As much as homophobes & transphobes want to latch on to this, it includes kids in care, kids who are bereaved, kids who are living in all sorts of circumstances that aren't just "mum & dad"

Just had an email from a constituent, whose PIP had been taken away.
It’s not only been reinstated, but increased from its original rate. They came to us for help, and we got them this outcome.

I’ve never been a huge believer in BBC bias, they’re out to get us etc. But this is shameful. The PM has already given interviews about yesterday, and we all know he will not face Andrew Neil. The BBC more than any other broadcaster must ensure all leaders face scrutiny.

House building means the family of five I’ve been trying to help, living in a studio flat, have actual breathing space.
The kids are already in school - they just can’t concentrate because they can’t sleep in these conditions.
Building houses does not immediately increase the number of children. Every child starting secondary school between now and 2033 is already born. Yes, provision has to go alongside house building, but all NIMBYism does is means many of those kids are under-housed.

I took German A Level a couple of years ago, I fell in love with the culture and language, and I study it now at uni.
Now I don’t know if I will ever be able to have a career, family, or life there.
You were part of taking that right away from an entire generation.
only around 2900 students took A-level in German this year. Shocking decline of foreign language skills.

Naz Shah has been incredibly brave in sharing this. Everyone involved in allowing Salma Yaqoob to stand to be a Labour candidate, and everyone who has defended and supported her, should feel deeply ashamed of themselves.

Nearly at the end of a week working, for the first time in over six months.
