I believe I can confirm that the building at the back of Feanor's statue is the House of Mirdain. There's a Silmaril over the front door, like the three on the paving around the statue. Same windows. Pictures from Canby on TORn discord. #theringsofpower

I noticed that many people don't understand Eärien, especially after the last scene we saw. So this is a thread meant to be a synthesis about her character. There's not much in the show, so many informations are from interviews to the actress Ema Horvath. #theringsofpower

They look like byzantine emperors, I think I'm about to die. There are guildcrests and Númenor 's sun on Pharazon's robes, a book over a lectern behind and petals on the ground. Amazing. #theringsofpower

Theory in a thread: wandering through Eriador. #theringsofpower Some time ago I made a quite full translation from a map written in "transitional Adûnaic", the first divergence from Tengwar. It shows Eriador before 750 SA, likely during the period of Aldarion's explorations.

New Armenelos' set for S2. And judging by the architecture, this should be part of the old city. The set is in Bray Film Studios, drone picture by yakadoodle123 on Reddit. #theringsofpower

Thread for my thoughts on - could the Stranger actually be Saruman? Ever since Season One ended I have considered the Stranger being Gandalf to be a sure thing. And I still believe that's probably the most likely option. But after talking with @numenor_empire , I believe that

Eärien's mother died, drowning while saving Isildur from a river. So Eärien became a kind of "mother" for the rest of her family. And she is the youngest, so she was forced into grow up quickly.

We know that she will find a guiding figure in Pharazôn (there were cut scenes related to this in S1). She's angry at Míriel for having dragged her family into death. So she decides to reveal the "corruption" by showing the Palantír to the Court. Causing chaos.

For this reason Eärien is not exactly fond of the Faithful view. Also she's the only one among the siblings being better integrated inside the numenorean society in the capital. In S1 she's an apprentice of the High Guild of Architects, as shown in the letter she receives.

Finally, in episode 8 she discovers the Palantír, that brought the former king Inziladun to madness. And we know that, as much the characters know, Isildur is dead in the meantime, for Míriel's expedition sake. How she's going to react to all of this?

Then her family broke again, when for following silly thoughts about being a Faithful and searching for "the real Númenor", Anárion left them, evidently not in good terms.

And when both Isildur and Elendil are going to war, she tries to convince them not to go (in a deleted scene) and, through Kemen, to convince Pharazôn into cancel Míriel's expedition. In the end she fails, and we see her in tears while the rest of her family leave the island.

The march could happen in episode 4, as stated by a leak from @FellowshipFans Maybe this is where Cirdan lives? Gil-Galad will ask him for advises? Or this is a center of operation, since is in here that Gil-Galad is saying:"Set a watch at every cross. He must not escape".

As for Gil-Galad, the place in which he is, after Lindon, could be Sarn Ford. Judging by the features we saw in the shot with horses, it must be a place near a river, and on the same road leading to Eregion, towards which the elves are marching.

For some, the elves will be rescued by Tom Bombadil, as a kind of callback to the books. A bit north from the Barrow Downs there's the Old Forest. The Haunt Wood can be the original extension of that place, reduced after Sauron's invasion of Eriador.

Númenor in the latest tv spot. Elendil in prison for quite a while I'd say. Miriel dressed like a queen, so she hasn't lost her status. This is before ep.5, or ep.5. Surely after her coronation. Kemen has S1 clothes, so I guess they are in earlier episodes. #theringsofpower

Elendil anyway will have some troubles in S2. He's standing in front of a natural pool. At some point, something will happen, likely interrupting whatever is happening, and everyone will look to their left. Could this be the episode 5's scene @FellowshipFans described?

As for Galadriel and her elves companions, I think they could meet the Wights in the same place in which the Barrow downs are located. In the ancient map the place is marked as "Haunt Wood", so this seems to match with the haunted forest.

Here's the link of the interview with the extended scene. In S2 Eärien will also visit Elendil in prison, and will be present at Míriel and Elendil's Sea trial. Hard to guess which development the she'll have, but surely she's very important storywise.

So I used the map as a reference to understand where the elves will be, judging by some frames in the bts and teaser. They'll travel between Lindon and Eregion, so in red there's the road, traced up in the TA version. I've located two places: the Barrow Downs and Sarn Ford.

After all, Míriel is not entirely a Faithful, since in S1 speaks of "her father's beliefs" showing no evident sign of sharing them. She'll more likely a balanced and surely proud person striving to keep the kingdom united, after the civil war. At least for now.

Every major character is present, except Kemen. Elendil is the only one being poorly dressed. Will Keen's character, (probably Belzagar), holds a book, maybe he's a minister of some kind. I personally believe this scene could involve a "ritual" with the sea as witness.

Their relationship grew up over the course of S1. So why she should allow to put Elendil under trial, or worse? If she's forced to do it, she will make it as Queen anyhow, since otherwise Pharazôn would be king in her place. And in the shots he doesn't seem dressed as a king.

And here a puzzling scene, which I believe could be a vision. It's not clear if it's related to the scene filmed in Tenerife, but surely Miriel's dress is the same and her hair are untied. The underwater shots were probably being filmed in an artificial pool and not on the shore.

A very partial translation of an adûnaic map. Unfortunately too blurred to distinguish something else. It's a map of Umbar and nearby territories, with new cities on Harad coast and river. #theringsofpower

At its center there's Elendil. Some think he'll be sentenced to death. I believe it's too extreme, so I would add another two possibilities: he could be forced, after few days of captivity, to renounce to his faithful beliefs. Or he'll be even anointed as a kind of knight.

I must thank @e51dc715a5 for making a his translation of the Eriador map, I got a couple of letters wrong. This is the best I gather from the King of the Southlands' parchment written in "transitional adûnaic". It's a revised translation of the one I made months ago on Reddit.

Part of the text about the King of the Southlands. Unfortunately, we only see parts of it for a few seconds in Episode 3 and 4 and the parchement with the crest covers a large part of the text too.

@lotrropbrand It's confused. He wears S1's costume when they are uniting the Rings to heal the Great tree. But before that, he wears this new dress in Lindon, while Galadriel and Elrond wear the same clothes from ep.8. Instead during the healing Galadriel has a new one...
