They are arguably a better TEAM than last season which is horrifying for the rest of the NHL. Spencer Knight has dialed things in and that to me is the best news. All four lines scoring. If there’s a “meh” it’s on the blue-line but even there it’s more-than serviceable.
Barkov and this team has grown so much since the last Finland series.

Barkov stood out to me the most. This was the first time in the playoffs I can sit here and say he lead the charge in the playoffs from the puck drop. I don’t just mean on the score board. That man was playing possessed today. Feels so good to be up 1-0.
Not much to critique from that one. A fantastic game top to bottom by everyone, lead by Barkov. Tampa will come with a heavy counter punch in game 2, and we are gonna need to meet that intensity. I’m pumped already, lets fucking GO.
