She could be executed at any moment, her last hope has been destroyed! The court has rejected Pakhshan Azizi’s request for a retrial, despite clear evidence of her innocence. This was the final hope for her family, her friends, and all of us who fought for her freedom. Now, at any moment, her life could be taken. is not a criminal, she is a humanitarian who risked everything to aid those suffering from war and violence, even working on the front lines in Syria to help children affected by ISIS. Her only “crime” was standing up for the most vulnerable. Yet, she has been sentenced to death for an offense she never committed. This is not just one execution, it is part of the Islamic Republic’s brutal retaliation against the Woman, Life, Freedom movement.
