As for one whose mission began *before* the Prophet's(s), and continues after his death, he's not a *new* prophet.

Tate is being treated humanely in detention. There is nothing cruel about it when you understand Romanian law, for there is *reasonable suspicion* that he is a human trafficker (based on his own content and other evidence), and he can be held up to 180 days.

The reason this topic gets such a level of interest is as follows: if it is accepted that the Quran depends on the fictional Syriac Legend of Alexander, then the Quran's claim to be infallible is immediately refuted.

But the lateness of these sources is IRRELEVANT as long as the isnads are reliable; for if the isnads are reliable, the hadiths go back to the Companions who witnessed the rise of Islam.
