This reveals significant information about how the British handed over the Haud and reserved areas to Ethiopia, Ethiopia's attempts to secure a route to the sea through Zeila, and the position of the Gadabuursi people, who opposed Ethiopia and resisted those measures. Additionally, the Gadabuursi treaty helped preserve Zeila from being handed over to Ethiopia, along with additional land. from years 1930-1954
