Why suddenly is privacy so big of a concern when it’s the government under the microscope? We the people haven’t had privacy since the Patriot Act.
Mark, respect you quite a bit. Question - don’t you agree that this paranoia about what tools are being used to uncover the fraud is unfounded? Your companies (as others’) get audited by Big 4s all the time. And they being their own software/processes to audit. I genuinely don’t think you/or anyone else in your team has ever been this paranoid about what tools an auditor uses to uncover their findings - whereas for DOGE, corrupt politicians who know they’ll be sent to jail if their fraud is uncovered, are doing everything they can to stop Elon. But the truth is, if it’s not him, it’s going to be someone else doing the auditing job for Trump. Back to auditing — The same applies to government orgs. Every day, we have thousands of contractors using their own computers, processes, and tools to connect to government systems and conduct their work. This is not new, and with DOGE doing it — other than the political aspect — functionally, I don’t suppose they’re doing anything differently than any other auditor would do, other than the use of AI - which you and I both know, can be limited so it doesn’t upload scraped data to the cloud. Think public vs private blockchain. So what exactly is the root of your fear here? I ask you because again I genuinely respect you and want to truly understand the root cause of your POV on this. @ScottAdamsSays Saw my local news this morning while waiting for a coffee… they still refer to USAID as a foreign aid program and call Trump’s first two weeks as “mixed results” saying he is struggling to implement his agenda. 😂 I told my wife, their audience is old people who aren’t online.
