I'm not doing well today. This new Chemo is kicking my ass. Woke up to mass amounts of curly blonde hair in my bed, so I went to the bathroom and cut it way short. Then I sat down and cried. Please send some animal pics!!! I need some smiles!

Life as a Cancer patient sucks. Spent last night in the ER. Eye pain and blurry vision. MRI-no tumor or retina issues. They think its an infection in the eye. Appt with an ophthalmologist early next week. Please send me some love.

Thank you all for the well wishes. When posting I'm not asking for medical advice. Just words of support. It's been a 23 yr long journey for me. Chemo and other drugs have given me more life than ever expected. I'm fortunate yet that doesn't make the journey easier.

Having a Dr tell her that she needs help at home is best in my opinion. If you have another person who she trusts come to that appointment so she can't then blame it on you, it will help. She's scared, angry, uncomfortable and embarrassed. ❤️❤️❤️

Do pot luck for most things but do the turkey, gravy and stuffing. Suggest making the turkey the day before and slice it cold. Set up in pans to reheat. Use the bones for stock. Put hot stock over the turkey and cover. Heat only 25 minutes at 375F. Temp to 165F.

I'm home!!! Been in the hospital since Wed. I have a Strep B infection in my blood and a bad rash on my upper torso. Very scary. Hopefully The Sespis hasn't cause any permanent organ damage. I have a long road to recovery. Thanks everyone for the support.

The last few weeks have been hard. Taken off chemo/heart weakening. PET shows lesions in liver pelvis spine have grown. New chemo starts Tuesday. So anxiety continues until we know this new one will work. At least to slow the progression.

In 3 hours I will be leaving the frozen prairie to head south to the beautiful beaches of the Florida Keys. My first flight since March '20. I will be wearing a mask the whole flight. I'll be the woman who's told I'm a sheep. I'll try to keep my mouth shut. Not very good at that.

Today is the 10 year anniversary of my 2nd and 3rd Breast Cancer Diagnosis. First Diagnosis 2001. I've been living with Metastatic BC in my liver since 2016. It's progressing so I'm back on IV Chemo likely for the rest of my life.

Frustrated. Supposed to have chemo yesterday however ECHO showed the heart isn't doing well. EF 45%. I'm at oncology now for labs. Can't get into see a cardiologist until 2/3. Sounds weird but I really want my chemo. Question is what do I want to die from. Cancer or Heart disease
