The IRA were a result of hundreds of years of brutal oppression at the hands of the British.
Hamas were a result of years of oppression at the hands os israel, who was handed the land by the British.
You cannot free yourself from oppression by peaceful means.

I did not even know this song existed and I am truly shocked at the ignorance and stupidity of such a song.
Ulster was ravaged by the famine which affected both Catholic and Protestant poor, 1 in 5 people in Belfast alone were affected by the famine.
As part of their Coronation celebration, Pride of the Valley, Coagh, thought it would be a great to teach childen the Famine Song. The irony of telling Irish people to go home, in Ireland completely lost on them.
