A consultant report estimated 10k people in Austin experienced homelessness at ANY POINT in FY20.
Thus, misleading to say 10k people are living in 168 camps.

I spent hours looking for a place to take this coyote puppy. When I FINALLY found one, John cried. This story won’t win any awards, it won’t garner thousands of social media clicks, but to John, a local news reporter helped him save a coyote today — and it feels good.
After being scooped up from I-25, an injured coyote pup named Ocho is now heading up north to the New Mexico Wildlife Center. 🐾
