For those who believe that you have to maintain and keep your salvation with works, I have questions. Seriously and sincerely, how do you know when you've done enough works? And I genuinely mean that. If it's works based, there must be a quota somewhere. Do you just decide how many works are enough? Is there a checklist somewhere? Do you need somebody's oversight and approval to tell you you've done enough works? And if it's about feeling bad about your sins, how bad do you need to feel? And how long do you need to feel bad for each sin? And who determines the level of bad you need to feel? Do you need to flagellate yourself? Do you need to give up everything and live in a hair shirt in a hut out in the wilderness? If it's works based, how do you know and when will you know that you've done enough? Is it a guessing game while you are alive and then when you stand before Christ he weighs everything out on some giant scale and tells you you've done enough or you just missed salvation by 3 works? Is he making a list and checking it twice? (Sorry, had to throw that in there) Once you start making works the basis of your salvation, you are opening up a huge huge Pandora's box of problems. Works do matter, but they do not earn us or lose us our salvation. They are the basis for our rewards at the BEMA seat judgment. If works had the power to keep our salvation, then Jesus did not need to die on the cross because we could have done enough works to save ourselves as well as keep our salvation. Because if you have to do works to maintain salvation, then it stands to reason that you could have done enough works to get your salvation. Works based salvation fails the scriptural test and the logic test because once you tease it out to its natural conclusion, there's no way you can know for sure that you were saved until you are dead and standing before Jesus. So much for our assurance of salvation... If you believe you can lose your salvation, how do you deal with these scriptures from John chapter 10? And if you're going to answer these questions, please provide scriptural evidence.

Over two decades ago I dabbled in writing short devotions, calling them morning glories. Here is the header I created for that devotional website, and here is the first devotion I wrote for it. Maybe I'll take up writing devotions again. Morning Glories Daily Devotionals Hear my cry, O God, Attend to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I will cry to You When my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. ~ Psalm 61:1-3 When your heart is overwhelmed, it's easy to forget that God is there, waiting for you to turn to Him. So often I worry, stress and struggle with my problems, looking for solutions in my own power, and feeling faint of heart. What can I do? Who do I have to turn to? I feel alone and desperate, afraid to wake up and get out of bed. It would be so easy to stay there and avoid my problems, but that doesn't solve them. Thankfully, God doesn't forget you or me! He's our refuge, our shelter, a strong tower from our enemy. When our heart is overwhelmed, when we feel like the world is against us, when we feel like giving up, we can run to God, who is always there for us. He's our loving Father, who wraps us in loving arms and comforts us. He protects us from the enemy, and He is our rock when we falter. Thank You, Lord, that You care for each of us. Your love is our shelter and a strong tower from our enemies. We can place our trust in You, knowing that even though the storm rages around us, we are safe in Your love. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Believers around the world are seeing the same thing.
Ich sehe es hier auf X tagtäglich. Die Menschen bemerken, dass die Natur verrückt spielt. Sie bemerken, dass die Menschen uneins und gespalten sind. Sie bemerken, dass die Gewalt zunimmt. Dass unsere Politiker unser Land wirtschaftlich zerstören und mit kulturfremden Menschen fluten (was natürlich alles nicht nur in Deutschland geschieht). Sie bemerken zunehmend gewaltbereite und kriegslüsterne Rhetorik. Und sie verstehen es nicht! Doch alles wurde bereits verkündigt! Ich möchte Euch so kurz wie möglich aufzeigen, dass dies bereits alles in der biblische Offenbarung und Prophetie vorhergesagt wurde. Aktuell befinden wir uns noch in den "Wehen". Es werden alle "Schachfiguren" in Stellung gebracht. Alle Gläubigen, die diesen Beitrag lesen bitte ich: Teilt diesen Beitrag oder schreibt eigene zu diesem Thema. Jeder Mensch, der noch nicht glaubt und durch unsere Botschaft zumindest beginnt nachzudenken, kann noch gerettet werden. Denn vieles deutet darauf hin, dass die Gnadenzeit bald vorüber sein könnte! Eine wichtige Rolle innerhalb der Offenbarung nimmt das Tier aus dem Meer ein. Das Tier aus dem Meer ("Völkermeer") wird interpretatorisch gleichgesetzt mit dem Antichristen. Es wird aber auch interpretiert als das Auferstandene Römische Reich. Zusammengefasst kann man interpretieren, dass der Antichrist ein diktatorisch regierender Mensch sein wird, der dem europäischen Staatenbund (EU) vorsteht. Was haben wir in den letzten Jahren gesehen? Die EU kann mehr oder weniger tun, was sie möchte. Die Nationalstaaten, können sich kaum wehren. Rechenschaft muss dort offenbar niemand ablegen. Wie Wege in eine Diktatur aussehen könne, erleben wir doch gerade. Die Regierungen regieren am Willen der Bevölkerung vorbei. Grundrechte können nach belieben beschränkt werden. Zunehmende Gewalt könnte dazu genutzt werden, Überwachung (z.B. mit Gesichtserkennung) an öffentlichen Orten einzuführen. Und es gibt noch vieles mehr, wie beispielsweise CBDCs. Es ist auch kein Zufall, dass ganz Europa mit muslimischen Migranten geflutet wird. Der Islam ist antichristlich im wahrsten biblischen Sinne. Oberflächlich betrachtet verehren Muslime Jesus, doch sie verneinen ALLES, was den wahren Jesus Christus ausmacht: Das göttliche Wesen (Sohn des lebendigen Gottes), der Tod am Kreuz zur Vergebung unserer Sünden und die Wiederauferstehung. Einige Interpretatoren der biblische Prophetie gehen davon aus, dass die Gnadenzeit (die Zeit der Gemeinde) 2000 Jahre dauern wird. Die Kreuzigung und Auferstehung Christi wird je nach Quelle zwischen 30 n.Chr. und 33 n. Chr. datiert. Addiert 2000 Jahre und ihr werdet erkennen, wie wenig Zeit uns vielleicht nur noch bleibt. Soll ich jetzt noch Begriffe wie "WEF" oder "Agenda 2030" in diese Überlegung einbringen? Jeder kennt die vier apokalyptischen Reiter (aus Offenbarung 6): Antichrist, Krieg, Hunger und Tod. Um es kurz zu fassen: Irgendwann wird es in Europa zu immer größeren Unruhen kommen. (Bürger-)Krieg, Hunger und Tote werden die Folge sein. Ein "starker Mann" wird kommen und alles vermeintlich wieder ordnen und er wird weitreichende Machtbefugnisse erhalten. Dieser wird der Antichrist sein und er wird auf dieser Erde Grausamkeiten verüben, wie sie die Welt noch nie gesehen hat! An alle, die nicht an den Herrn Jesus Christus glauben: Es ist mir egal, ob ihr mich eine Verschwörungstheoretiker, Fantasten oder Wahnwichtel nennt. Ich glaube an Jesus Christus, unseren Herrn und Erlöser und an das ewige Wort Gottes. Deshalb bin ich nicht hier, um der "Welt zu gefallen", sondern um das Wort Gottes zu verbreiten. Daher rate ich Euch eindringlich: Wenn Euch das alles, was gerade (weltweit) geschieht auch nur im entferntesten seltsam vorkommt oder Angst macht, dann lest die Bibel. Lest das Neue Testament, die Offenbarung und die Propheten. Kehrt um, bereut und wendet Euch zu Christus. 🙏
