If 70% of the population commits 70% of rape there’s nothing notable about that. You would expect that to happen, as it’s directly proportional to their population. If, for example, 13% of the population committed 50% of violent crime, then it would be much more alarming.

Japan’s is way higher. The most reasonable and careful estimates of the Pre-Columbian population of the USA usually hover between 5-8 million or so. And the cumulative slave population of America was slightly under 10 million, with maybe 5 million of them getting freed
