Madrid is a perfect city. Weather, culture, infra, costs. You can go eat a mofongo like you're in Washington Heights, and 30 min later be staring at Guernica. The subway costs 61 cents a ride and NEVER smells like pee. The Spanish bar is the perfect bar. A real social bar scene

There is a huge world of smart people who trained at call centers in LatAm - who have great English, understand the US culturally. Instead of making 700 bucks a month at the call center, could be making 2500 in a remote job.

We spend about 3000 euros per month in central Madrid. Some outings but nothing too crazy. That is 36k per year. To spend that you'd have to make around 60k euros pretax in Spain. That salary puts you in the top 4% of earners in Spain. So no "normal" Spanish in Madrid?
