Fuck. For those who don't know Australia already has robust anti-hate speech laws. This is something else entirely. A vague, undefined mandatory sentencing law that was pushed through parliament without sufficient debate or scrutiny. Begging to be abused by whichever major party is in power at the time.
🚨BREAKING: The ‘Hate Speech’ legislation has received Assent, and is now officially law.

He's right! There will never be a lasting peace in the region in it's current incarnation. There too much hate. That experiment has been played out again and again. One side or the other initiates conflict. A cycle of fighting over and over, forever. Imagine you could wave a magic wand and give every Gazan a brand new house, clean running water, a fresh start in a home that doesn't revolve around fear and hate. That's possible in our lifetime. Anything else is tribalism.
BREAKING: President Trump just announced: "The US will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it, too. We'll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site. Level the site and get rid of the destroyed buildings. Level it out. Create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area."
