@MitchellAttwell @ceritheviking I'm pretty sure I read a manifesto that promised an M4 relief road. It had red branding all over it too.

@ceritheviking @PhilJones33 Wales can produce zero pollution and it will have no effect on LA. That's also kind of the point of why people are fed up with so much resource spent on it while basics crumble.

@MatthewMarks42 @BicycleAssoc @BBCOne Oops, there goes the 'law is perfectly clear' part of the complaint.

@AldredKeith @20splentyforus @wrexhamcbc Are you calling the Welsh govt liars for claiming to be the first to do this? Or are you agreeing that a targeted implementation is far better than a default/blanket rollout?

@BobFromAccounts My commute by car - 9 miles, 18 minutes. By public transport - 15 miles, 82 minutes (if it runs on time, or at all)

@theJeremyVine Common denominator, Occam's razor, Maybe you keep trying to get as close as you can rather than anticipate and give a bit of space?

@BobFromAccounts Sounds like you'd also blame too much water rather than remove the kinks in your hosepipe.

@JacCymro1400 I don't get your post. We're not changing policy to suit visitors. We're doing the exact opposite. It would suit visitors better to not make these changes!

@CitizenUddin @metpoliceuk They don't encourage you to go out deliberately filming to provoke and seek social media content under the guise of 'doing good'. That's where the risk is all on you.

@cyclegaz Remember, a minimum height for vehicle hoods was introduced in order to improve pedestrian safety. That's why you no longer see low pointy fronted sports cars.

@AnaNutherthing @fesshole Things move on though. 99.999% of species are gone and have created space for new things. The most amazing thing about nature is its ability to fill that space. Why try to preserve a point in time?

@GM360Power @fietsprofessor Exactly this. I think the same every time I see this argument. I'll get a different car to go to work, to take the kids to music lessons, to take the family out, to go on a camping trip, etc. Now, where do you want me to park them all?

@jonburkeUK @SadiqKhan Wales has had free school meals for longer, and we've sent the quality of the food decline badly over that period. It's now all ultra-processed nonsense like 'No fish fingers'. I asked the council what they're made of - they don't even know!

@MikeyCycling You'd be even further away and much safer from cars if you used the cycle lane to the left of them instead of going down the middle of the road perving on every single innocent driver and using the occasional phone user as justification.

@MikeyCycling If you paid attention to your surroundings, you'd have seen the cycle lane which would allow you much smoother access to your destination than dodging pedestrian islands.
