selling pokemon cards back in the days was super profitable. i bought all my friends facebook accounts so i could join all buy&sell groups in sweden without getting banned, then bulk bought every single pokemon card from moved-out kids in sweden & shipped them to the US. still
How did you make your first dollar on the internet?
I'll go first: I sold Pokémon cards on eBay. This was before PayPal, so got checks in the mail and had to wait for them to clear before shipping the cards out sandwiched in cardboard mailers. Later on sold Diablo 2 items too!

I think the novelty of sounds is what takes away focus which is why i.e. LoFi is great, just a repeated sequence. If I listen to lyrics, I listen to song I've heard 20+ times, when I know all the patterns & lyrics it's no overhead

yea just looked up some images, not a single tall building. i think i just dont understand how rent can 2x, but building taller buildings won't fix it? happy to be convinced otherwise, or we disagree on that paying 2x rent is worth it to keep old buildings & have a nicer city

I lived in Egypt for a year. You can see a full neighbourhoods of skeleton building. Also Cairo is building "New Cairo" just outside Cairo, and are moving rich people to there. It looks similar to Europe but not enough people have moved yet so it's basically an enourmous modern
