🧵Question for lawyers: Given that access to healthcare is a legal right, and both Sex and Pregnancy are protected characteristics under the equality act 2010, could harassing / attempting to prevent pregnant women accessing healthcare constitute an offence? @GoodLawProject.

@DrPamLowe Agree Dr Lowe, but the fact they’re tweeting it at all seems to indicate that they are both aware their protests intimidate women seeking abortion healthcare, and they are pleased that this intimidation appears to up the no show rate.

Thank you @ShaymaBakht for your article in @thetimes - @MareeToddMSP and @NicolaSturgeon have both expressed strong support for Buffer Zones - I would beg them to introduce these urgently to keep our patients, sisters and daughters safe. @backoffscotland.
