@keewa @gearoid_oriain @MrPostsGood I’m a neutral outsider, but as a working Irishman my money is on the joke being the pronoun queer art student airing a failing podcast from a niche European city.

@paddythehopper @PangurBn10 Are you yeah boy. Joining the British Army hasn’t been on any agenda since the constitutional nationalists in the wake of WW1. You’re arguing with an archetype who isn’t present in our conversation. A learned man would say that mass immigration serves wealthy interests👍

@paddythehopper @PangurBn10 That’s a reach if I ever saw one Paddy. While there is an artificial ‘nationalist’ archetype out there, most of this current stems from the Irish working class dissatisfaction with how the country is being ran. Hard to understand I assume from your financial circles

@paddythehopper @PangurBn10 Fine Gael etc, weren’t nationalists.. The gatekeeping of the phrase Nationalism to your very specific strain of political thought(which probably is beyond the thought of Connolly & newer-strung) is being obtuse. There was Republicans further left of you and further right of Duce.

@paddythehopper @PangurBn10 You don’t mind when those governments profit from human capital at the cost of Irelands communities

@PatOLeary1 @EmmaKCoates @CiaraManning1 Also a case of that there is an English surname Manning, but there is Irish Ó Mainnín which is also anglicised as Mannion, a name native to Connacht. Same with Irish Smith’s, most of whom are Mac Gábhann. I heartily laugh at the desperation and straw clutching of this woman.

The Irish Republican Brotherhood which resulted in 1916 was founded by exiled Irish in America. 1919-21 Irish Americans funded the revolution From 1924 - 1990s Irish American continual supported the Irish struggle - to say someone like Joseph McGarrity, Harry Boland or Martin Galvin has no claims to being Irish is ridiculous
