Tried this out yesterday. Meta has been COOKING. Honestly beats any first party app Apple has released so far IMO. This is just insane to me

It’s not really that. The warping is from reprojecting the camera view so that the passthrough looks like it came from the perspective of your eyes and not cameras.
Apple doesn’t do this so there isn’t distortion, with the downside that things may be a bit farther than they look

Sorry I assumed you knew what caused the warping. Meta reprojects the camera view so that objects appear in the right position. You can see by covering one camera and seeing objects “zoom back”. This is helpful because it makes it easier to pick things up and not knock stuff over

Their settlement with Nintendo prohibits any distribution of yuzu in built and source code form. Development must also stop.
The yuzu website and related services will also be shut down.
