My grandma, Mahbuba khanim, was born and raised in
#Shusha
so I am ¼ Shusha-li. She left the town only to go to a university in Baku, where she met my grandpa and settled here. But Shusha was always in her heart. She talked about the mountains, the air, the sky and many springs.
War is not only about land and sovereignty, it is mainly about people. People whose lives get destroyed. Please meet one of my closest friends Jamshid Rzaguliyev. Jamshid was born in the Vejnali village of Zangilan and was 16 when the first

war came to his village...
Russia Today channel's antihumanism reaches a whole new level: "Ukrainian grandmothers would be ready to spend their saved funeral money so they can get raped by
#Russia
-n soldiers", "There are people in Ukraine with whom we don't want to coexist - we'll execute all of them".
Meanwhile on Russia's state-funded RT, director of broadcasting Anton Krasovsky suggests drowning or burning Ukrainian children, makes hideous comments about the rapes by Russian soldiers in Ukraine, says Ukraine should not exist and Ukrainians who resist Russia should be shot.
This is a disgenuine propaganda by Turkey.
None of the Armenian authorities since 1993 restoration of our independence has made any territorial claim to Turkey.
My granda was dreaming about lost home in Musa Dagh when old & ill with fever. Does it count as a territorial claim?
Hey Jimmy Kimmel! Recently you showed a footage of a woman from Azerbaijan being harassed by her boss during a Zoom call. And you didn't even blur the victim's face! You could blur her face to protect her identity. She has suffered enough.

Just a reminder that the name
#Stepanakert
has nothing to do with the Armenian heritage. The town was called Khankendi (Khan's village) and was renamed in Soviet times after Stepan Shauman the leader of bolshevik forces in Baku. He was born in Tbilisi and died in Turkmenistan.
From all the massacres that happened between Armenian and Turkic population of South Caucasus, the March events of 1918 in Baku boggle me the most. 6000 Bolsheviks and 4000 (!) Dashnaks slaughter 12,000(!) Azerbaijanis in Baku and other adjacent regions.(1)
#GenocideofAzerbaijanis
For the last three decades every toast or congratulation in
#Azerbaijan
ended with "Let us see that day when this event (birthday, wedding, party etc.) will happen in

.
Now "Today is that day" ("Bu gün o gündür") is trending.
I am surprised that no one is talking about the responsibility of
#Armenia

An

I am not crying.
Dear World!

doesn't have democracy, human rights or independent courts. Thus, please feel free to ethically cleanse our towns, then raze them to the ground. Kill whoever couldn't escape. Also go ahead and occupy our lands as you please. Thank you.

Pay attention: Azeri was a soldier, Armenian was a father. They can't be both soldiers or both fathers. One has to be constantly dehumanized. The devil is in the details.
Azeri soldier illegally standing some 3KM inside Armenia's sovereign territory shot and killed an Armenian father of a 3 year old girl.
Azerbaijan's "independent" oppositions actually called it an "Armenian provocation".
This is not a country looking for peace
Considering the end of the Karabakh War, my mind revisits the events from my childhood that happened right before the first war started. So here is the Black January Massacre (1990) through the eyes of a 7-year-old Adnan:

I condemn any type of abuse towards civilian population during or after the war. The war is over. We need to heal the wounds and learn to live in peace.

Hello,
#Armenia
-ns of Twitter! Can you please tell me how do you and your society understand the following term of AZ-ARM agreement (9 Nov 2020):
4. The peacemaking forces of the Russian Federation shall be deployed concurrently with the withdrawal of the Armenian troops.
I see a lot of Armenian Twitter users saying: It is time for Armenian army to step in and prevent the fall of Karabakh. Am I missing something? They haven't stepped in yet?
Question to people from

War brought a new word into

Novorçu (noun) - a pacifist, a person who is actively against the war and demand to put a stop to it.
Plural: Novorçular.
Etymology: No War (eng.), -çu (occupational suffix az.)
#NoWar
With 17.5 percent of land occupied by Armenia, 26K casualties in the first Karabakh war, close to a million of IDPs and refugees, who do you think should be perceived as the biggest enemy? Nicaragua?
PM Pashinyan! Follow through with the article 9 of the ceasefire agreement and sign the peace treaty already! Again, stopping the bloodshed is in your hands. Young men are dying every day because of your inability, and inaction. Do something!

Now, it will be up to me, to travel to the site of the village after the war and bring some soil from there onto Jamshid's grave. Rest in peace friend, you home is back.
I remember visiting my grandma’s side of the family in
#Shusha
. This photo is from Shusha in 1987, right before the conflict started. I am the little one. I remember Shusha as sunny, green and white. I also remember a Samovar tea we had on “Cıdır Düzü” with the local fresh herbs
@joaodiogopinto
The photo totally disproves all arguments showing Russia being Armenia's ally. Forget centuries of history, peacekeepers in Karabakh, Army bases in ARM etc. THIS photo refutes all of that. Great job.
People living on the occupied lands should be immediately evacuated from the conflict area to prevent any loss of civilian lives. Armies of both counties should ensure the safety of the evacuation.

We do not need

Hey

For the love of universe, mother nature, and everything holy, let us make this war the last one between

Whatever the outcome of the war is, two things need to be ensured in

In 5 hours, while in Frankfurt airport, I was informed that he died while sitting on his couch and looking at the ceiling. He died in May of 2018. Today his village was liberated. He missed it by lousy two years:
Müzəffər Azərbaycan Ordusu Cəbrayıl rayonunun Xudaverdili, Qurbantəpə, Şahvələdli, Xubyarlı, Zəngilan rayonunun Aladin, Vecnəli, Qubadlı rayonunun Kavdadıq, Məmər, Mollalı kəndlərini işğaldan azad etmişdir. Eşq olsun Azərbaycan Ordusuna! Qarabağ Azərbaycandır!
These are the areal view of the village. Nothing is left. Occupants took it apart stone by stone and left the foundations. Same goes for most of the towns and villages in the occupied area. They are all razed to the ground. Was it so nothing is left when they had to give it back?

This tweet is a great example of both misinformation and equivocation.
Firstly, at the beginning of the conflict,
#Azerbaijan
-is constituted more than 20% of Nagorno Karabakh, and a vast majority of population of surrounding districts. So no, we were not at most 5%. Secondly...
I'll never understand the Azerbaijani urge to claim a region where they were at most 5% of the population. Armenians made up about 15% of the population of Baku right before the pogroms, but you don't see any serious Armenians claiming Baku.

Political irony: Pashinyan came to power as a result of mass antigovernment protests. At the time, Arm. government didn't deploy CSTO's Russian troops against him. Now, as a chairman of said organization he started the process of deploying "peace forces" against Kazakh protesters
About the recently surfaced video of atrocity committed in Karabakh: Any act of intentional violence by military towards civilian population during, or immediately after the war is a crime. The perpetrators should be identified and punished accordingly.
