That's bonkers. The climate can be changed by natural processes but also by human created pollution. One doesn't negate the other. It's bonkers to suggest it does.
@nytimes
How deeply unpleasant! The New York Times should hang its collective heads in shame for this outrageously disrespectful, unkind and putrid article. Gutter press.
@NationalTheatre
This post should be deleted. The National Theatre is meant to be an institution for the whole nation and not party political. It demeans itself as an intellectual and artistic body by sinking to party political point scoring.
Meanwhile in Russia: Putin's former advisor Sergey Markov and state TV host Olga Skabeeva quoted Donald Trump and Elon Musk and joined them in bashing Vice President Kamala Harris, attempting to portray her as a "dumb and aggressive evil doll."
@Mike_Fabricant
Exactly! And the only fine is for over zealously interpreting the nine minutes of uneaten cake between meetings. So any claim he repeatedly broke the rules is absurd. All the furore is because of civil servants ignoring the rules and the media redirecting it to the PM.
@BorisJohnson
It is good to acknowledge this, but Somaliland suffers economically and in other ways such as a difficulty in getting emergency assistance because its de facto independence hasn't been officially recognised. It's time
#Somaliland
was given international recognition.
@jokowi
Dear President, building a new capital city in Borneo poses a huge threat to the rainforests, to biodiversity and endangered species including the orangutan. It would be better to make an existing city the capital. Yogyakarta would be a beautiful alternative capital city.
@piersmorgan
Hmmm the trouble is Starmer wanted the unnecessary restrictions to be tougher and to go on even longer. Plus there's evidence both he and the Welsh Labour leader broke the rules too.

@BernieSpofforth
So where should energy come from? Coal and oil? No. Gas, yes but expensive. Nuclear, wind and solar, yes, so turbines will have to stay...
@cazkarllukeleon
@NeilSalter4
He didn't say that at all. He made a public statement backed by medical specialists. Measures need to be taken at the right time. If schools close grandparents will potentially be put more at risk.
@afneil
It's a shame you aren't a cheerleader for Brexit. It's really just a silly name for independence & sovereignty. If Canada, USA, Japan, Australia & New Zealand can exist and work well outside a huge supranational capitalist bloc, why can't the UK? The premise of the EU is wrong.
@ArchRose90
No. It causes tremors, pollutes the water supply, doesn't help transition to a cleaner economy (hydrogen and hydrogen plus carbon capture is the way forward), huge traffic, dust and pipeline issues and doesn't provide much potential energy either.
Imagine if after an IRA attack the UK bombed neighbourhoods in Northern Ireland. Extreme reactions don't lead to peace. Violence leads to violence. The peace process needs to restart.
@AngusRobertson
@ScotNational
After Scoxit it would take many years before Scotland met the criteria for EU membership. Possibly 20 years. Being out of the UK and the EU at the same time would leave Scotland in an economically disastrous position.
@ReutersUK
If the only parts for Black actors are playing European queens then clearly not enough historical Black stories are being told. Why aren't those stories being made into films? They should be.
@GiftCee
@CompoundAye
Booing of politicians is normal but when media interviews the booers and makes a big deal of it, it tips over into media bias and obsession.
"The Republic of Somaliland is a sovereign, independent and democratic country that aspires to
live in peace and tranquility with our neighboring countries"
@GBNEWS
The reason GBNews exists as far as I can tell is contrary to Mr Crick mainstream channels show absolutely no sign of returning to impartiality. As to the Queen's funeral it would have been very weird and disrespectful to launch into a debate about monarchy v republic at that time
Dear
@RishiSunak
, Dear
@Keir_Starmer
why is the UK army assisting a country that has just ethnically cleansed Armenians from Nagorno Karabakh, is in alliance with Russia and is led by something approaching a dictatorship? Please can this be stopped.
The UK and Azerbaijan have long cooperated in the field of Defence. We continue our proud tradition to send Azerbaijani Officers on training to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. We join 🇦🇿 Officer Cadet Asadov to congratulate Azerbaijan on its Armed Forces Day.
@ShahrarAli
She made some very sensible points. The Green Party should allow free speech on the matter. There clearly is a conflict of rights in this issue. Women want spaces and rights protected and this is being challenged. To pretend there is no clash of rights is not honest.
@WajahatAli
@MaryLTrump
Queen Elizabeth reigned over decolonisation, the ending of Empire and its transformation into the fantastic peaceful and inclusive Commonwealth. She had no political power and was friendly to all nations.
@TarasKuzio
Nagorno-Karabakh / Artsakh was never ruled by Soviet Azerbaijan, it had its own autonomy. As soon as Soviet Union dissolved it declared independence and should have been allowed to remain so. The Azeri dictatorship should not have constantly waged war to conquer it.
@jokowi
Dear Mr Widodo, please can you save Indonesia's rainforest. Please save Borneo's unique environment from destruction and please save the orangutan. Thank you.

I see he saw his colleagues every day for work and raising a glass in a doorway is no extra risk. Vaccines were brought in quickly and the pandemic was taken seriously.
Fantastic documentary about

@SciDiplomacyUSA
Hergeisa is in Somaliland, an entirely different country, with its own flag and anthem, with different laws, a different judicial system and a different political system. Independent from Somalia for many, many years. Time the U.S. recognised this...
@SpittingImage
@WinterfellT
Will the new Spitting Image take knocks at all sides of the political spectrum like the old days? Impartial satire? Or will it succumb to the modern malaise of just attacking one side?
It was stupidity of highest proportions to let Al-Shabaab terrorists and heavily armed militias into Las’anod, it’s extremely dangerous to wait as Somaliland enemies mobilise themselves from Gaalkacayo to Garbahaaray.
@JesseKellyDC
If your tweet is from the 1950s, 60s or 70s it might apply although there are some great traditional dishes. However today it's not remotely true. The UK has cuisine from all over the world, fine dining restaurants & pretty good food in most pubs too. Come you'll be blown away.
@cmackinlay
@Fox_Claire
It's been an anti-Tory paper for quite some time now. It's hard to discern what it's politics are other than bringing this government down.
@JohnCleese
Ha ha!!! The whole joke was Basil was a bigot or judgemental fool who occasionally remembered he'd done wrong and spent the next half of the show rushing around trying to mend things. But to say imperfect people have to be cancelled misconstrues the while concept of comedy. :-)
@tomgara
Although they are roughly contemporary, Stonehenge is believed to be about 500 years older than the pyramids. However the ancient Egyptians did outdo us in technology, science and architecture at that same period.
@BrugesGroup
Most of the claims about 'parties' were civil servants and not him, happened when he was in hospital or at Chequers or were more sensibly described as work events with refreshments. Which leaves just promoting the wrong person. Hardly a litany of wrongdoing.
@DanielWickham93
@im_PULSE
The irony is some genetic studies show Palestinians might be partially descended from ancient Jews and Christians as well as Philistines and Phoenicians who were of course there before the Arabs arrived. Some then converted to Islam while others kept to the Christian faith.
EU is very concerned about the serious humanitarian situation affecting Karabakh Armenians. Movement via the Lachin corridor must be reopened immediately. Azerbaijan bears responsibility to guarantee safety & freedom of movement along the Lachin corridor.
The reasons Somaliland should be recognised as independent: a) it's had defacto independence since 1991, b) it's peaceful, stable & functioning as a state whereas Somalia is conflict ridden failed state, c) it's suffered genocide within living memory & d) it is the people's wish.
@JolyonMaugham
He shot Bambi too, and plans are apparently afoot to cancel Christmas. Oh and latest reports from someone completely impartial are he was seen leaving the house of one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Shocking!
@ArchRose90
This is very silly. The song has nothing to do with slavery. It says Britons never shall be slaves, as in, subservient to other nations. It has an entirely different meaning.
@y_alibhai
I doubt it broke the rules. And we don't know if he shed any tears for his former wife. But he looked tearful when he visited his ailing 99- year-old father. We should be compassionate and kind whatever his position.
