We're really shocked and saddened to hear that a vital lifeline for many NHS workers is now being withdrawn.

I think that was the shocker for most of us - ICU patients are normally asleep but with this, many knew what was happening to them. It was horrific. Please know there is much support out there ❤️
@PackedLunchC4
No, many people are obese for many different reasons - trauma, abuse, stress, poverty, education etc To ask people to pay adds to a blame culture & increases shame. The whole issue around being overweight needs to be approached with compassion & education.
"Last year 85% of nurses still turned up for a shift at least once despite having issues such as stress, back pain, anxiety or depression."
Our nurses deserve a well staffed NHS where they don't have to sacrifice their own health to care for others.

How you speak to yourself matters because self-talk can impact your health and wellbeing. 🍃
If you think your self-talk is too negative, or if you want to emphasise positive self-talk, you can shift your inner dialogue, starting with this ✨👇

What does a mental health crisis IN the
#NHS
look like?
1 in 4 NHS workers (that we know about) considering ending their life.
Nearly half the workforce struggling with their mental health.
They stepped up for us - Can you step up for them?
120 seconds to save a life.
PTSD can also make you feel incredibly numb and far away from life - which is called disassociation. A good example of a mild version? Driving somewhere and not remembering how you got there.

"The public and the government do not care about how desperate the people working in the NHS are for change and it kills us," commented another acute medical worker."
We hear you, and we stand with you.
The 2023 NHS Staff Survey found 3/10 staff experience burnout due to their work. 4/10 felt ill due to work-related stress in the last year, and only 1/4 say they don't face unrealistic time pressures. This situation is unsustainable; staff deserve better
"There's too much reliance on the goodwill of staff to battle through no matter what, to the detriment of their health & wellbeing. ⚠️
This is not sustainable or acceptable, and this must change."
👏
What do you remember working during the pandemic as a frontline worker? We remember the fear, the anxiety & people living in cars to stop infecting loved ones. The lack of basic supplies including PPE. The death, grief and pain. Lives changed

Sadly this is something we are all too familiar with. We've assisted over 11,000 people from the NHS and frontline in the last 26 months. It really is time to have a coordinated sustainable support package for each of these workers.

We know as frontline workers in busy environments exercise isn't always easy, but any time spent out in nature can be really beneficial
Where is a place that makes you happy? Let us know 👇✍️💙
We don't know who needs to hear this but:
You don’t always have to be doing something. Doing nothing is good too, resting is also productive and is self-care.
