It is time for students to return to school. Volunteers from Tarim University waited here at the Aksu airport to receive freshmen from other provinces, which reminded me of my campus life a decade ago. #Xinjiang

I'm proud of the quality cotton from my hometown. Still remember middle school students were required to experience farming by picking cotton during my school years. I guess thats a kind of PBL initiated from the west, but maybe also a kind of forced labor named by west too.

Xinjiang produces the best-quality cotton in the world. Look at this beautiful and awe-inspiring scene. How boring the lies of forced labor are!

@RnaudBertrand Interesting metaphor. It's time to slow down and it's no longer just about getting things done but about doing them better.

@Jerry_grey2002 Greetings from a Xinjiang local, aka a self-proclaimed "forced laborer" -- #wink , who enjoyed picking cotton as a teenager (and fell in love for the first time, lol). I hope more people will follow you, go and see Xinjiang for themselves!

The only #forcedlabors in #Xinjiang - CRCHI show off a fleet of state-of-art cotton picking machines. The industry has become increasingly automated over the last 20 years. Now machines harvest 90% of cotton in the north; and over 50% in the south.

One of the researchers Nilufer Gheyret said:"For #Xinjiang minority workers, it is not fair to ask them to stay in Xinjiang and do not leave. These workers want to continue working in China's inland in pursuit of a better life but fear losing their jobs due to sanctions."

@RnaudBertrand Well, considering Mr. Burns' tendency to criticize China, it seems quite fitting for him in his role. This video likely showcases his dutiful approach in addressing various aspects of China.

I was utterly intrigued by Dilraba's striking ethnic ensemble when she presented a local dance at the Spring Festival gala in February. Here's her answer: The red pomegranate patterns on my clothes and the small beads resembling pomegranate seeds on my headdress symbolized the

These are people living in Xinjiang. In contrast with those living in other countries, they are among the people deeply impacted if Xinjiang suffers groundless accusations and following sanctions.

This is Tekes County in #Xinjiang 's Ili Kazak Autunomous Prefecture. The county is designed according to the Bagua, an ancient Chinese arrangement of 8 symbols used in Daoist cosmology.

The Twitterverse never sits still. Adrian Zenz's credentials have raised alertness about the lack of transparency in his research funding. His boss, the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation (VCMF), is partly funded by the US government, perhaps boosting individual donations.
