I live in a city suburb Pros: - our street is constantly filled with kids and parents. Parents are playing with children. Kids are being carefree and fun. Summers and snow days are an absolute blast - I live a few houses down from a park which is AWESOME - community pool so I donāt have to pay or upkeep my own - I am close to all of my sons friends (literally within 10 minutes of everyone) and my friends - I spend a lot of time in the town vs out of the town (Bible study, church, play dates, gymnastics, milk pick up, etc) - I live within 10 min of all the stores I need so we go walk around stores for fun and never worry about missing something from our pantry Cons - HOA - āfishbowlā feeling (aka I love having blinds open but I feel like all of my neighbors are looking into our home because sometimes I catch myself doing the same) - gossipy neighbors/karen neighbors - having to deal with said Karen neighbors

I could never!! As soon as any of my kids start crying, I start crying. One time we had 20 mins left of a car ride home and my daughter was scream crying because she was fighting sleep and she was hungry. I sobbed all the way home and immediately ran inside the house with her yelling at my husband to get our son out of the carš

Ugh. I know. Iām guilty of āsleep trainingā my son though. I started when he was 1. But I would put him down, wait until he fussed, and then immediately go in and cuddle him, and repeat. I felt so horrible but I was so sick from being pregnant again! Now I am back to rocking BOTH of my children to sleep hahaha. Toddler bed in my sonās favor.

Iām roughly in the middle of Ch 5. Iām gonna try and finish part two by tomorrow night but Iām not sure if that will be feasible. I gotta make like 100 cookies tomorrow & Super Bowl party. then my week is like completely filled until Thursday. ššš I try to read when I put my kiddos down though

@FreyaWhitethorn @smalltown_wife When you put a baby on a blanket as their allowed area and put objects outside of it so that when they reach for them or try to leave the blanket, you hit or scare them so they quit attempting to leave the blanket to āteach obedienceā

@RadioactiveIM3 I havenāt been able to get very far šš I JUST started part two. Life has been super crazy this month and I havenāt been able to just sit and listen to the book because my daughter is transitioning between sleep schedules rn

@oliveegger @smalltown_wife Thatās actually PSYCHO behavior. I got a play pen for my son to keep him in a specific area when he started walking/crawling and even I hated that. But I had to get dishes done some how š
