This is the longest my nails ever get. I’m neurotic about scrubbing around and under them multiple times a day (probably why my cuticles are so dry) . But, I’m not a baker, guitar player, or gardener so I do not experience issues doing those things bc I simply don’t do them 🤣
But HOW EXACTLY does one live with long fingernails?. Are we just not playing guitar? Not planting trees? Not kneading dough?. Are we just walking around touching things softly with just the pads of our fingers?.

All this to say, the diamond might look “small” but it’s a higher quality than most because the cut demands it.

Also due to the way the diamond is cut, it is very open meaning any flaws are extremely visible and the color has to be as close to colorless as possible because yellow/brown is very obvious.

“ThE rInG sIzE” - like that’s an emerald cut ring so it’s at least 1 carat, probably closer to 1.5 minimum. Due to how an emerald cut diamond carries its weight (good) jewelers will RARELY sell anything less than 1ct for a main stone because it looks VERY small.
