The Fitz is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Professor Peter Mundy. Prof Mundy trained many of the students that passed through the doors of the Fitz and was highly influential in the the field of Southern African ornithology, particularly in relation to vultures. R.I.P
RIP Prof. Peter Mundy. You will be remembered for you contributions to the study of vultures, your authorship of "Vultures of Africa", but importantly also for your mentoring of young Zimbabwean biologists and conservationists. @BirdLifeAfrica @BirdLife_SA @BirdLife_News
