@KCKlatt exactly, the moral superiority associated with being 'healthy' means looking down on most people while ignoring systemic issues

@EimearDarcy Great to see education for GPs on obesity too as well as services for patients.

@RDevil_1986 Proportion. Not about sympathy. Like I said.

@RDevil_1986 Don't agree. Police were inept. You don't wait 10 months to contrive your statement to meet prosecution threshold. They were embarrassed by how it was handled, were getting media heat and they lashed out with a stupid prosecution. But many have different views on it & that is ok.

@RDevil_1986 Nah, I don't buy that at all. I've seen this behaviour and worse towards police many a Saturday night and local police defuse it very well. Besides no-one comes out well here - police, Kerr or the taxi driver. Anyways we'll see the verdict soon enough.

@RDevil_1986 He's a cop - if that distresses him, we have no hope. It isn't about sympathy for her, it is about proportion. Total waste tax payer money. There is something fishy going on - to wait so long to charge her & change his statement so the charge would meet threshold for prosecution.

@RDevil_1986 Yep, I'm not defending her behaviour. I just think the whole thing is ridiculous and the police completely mishandled the entire situation. To not charge her, then come back 10 months later when the policeman said he was 'distressed'. A 5+ day trial is total nonsense.

@danmancs @EVERALDATLARGE Catch yourself on - a 5+ day trial? Ridiculous. An average Saturday night in London, patrolling the streets wouldn't result in people being arrested for this.
