I think their films just use a bunch of saturation and a half decent lighting engine to make them appear good but models are reused a bunch throughout different films and the actual character designs are quite lazy

It’s a complete and ridiculous departure from the first film, Mater is a terrible lead and relegates Lightning to the sidelines for no reason, it’s a boring kid movie spy thriller that is devoid of Pixar magic.
