I don’t care about the Belmont Stakes distance. This whole year is not normal obviously. I’m just glad we have races back at Belmont. Feel blessed that we can race not upset. Don’t take anything for granted, you never know when it may get taken away from you in a heartbeat 🙏

I hope everyone including the jockeys at Monmouth Park realize this is bigger then just Monmouth Park…. This is about the horses , your lives and the entire industries future.
After talking to a few owners yesterday I don’t see how Monmouth Park is going to have a successful meet. Owners are realizing how dangerous this rule is for their horses and jockeys.

Tapeta is literally the fakest surface literally and figuratively . More bias than I’ve ever seen any track in my existence . When it’s speed favoring they could go 20.1 42.2 53 for 5/8 and keep running . When it’s closers you can go 27 54 on lead and everyone passes you late

I just want to say besides the great photo that grey horse is one of the coolest horses I’ve been around. A very hard trying NY bred Memories of Peter runs a big one off a year lay-off against opening company. Thankful to have him in the barn, thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Generazio!

Maybe an idea is to have a 3 race series for the stallion series NY breds . Make it fun top 5 gets points whoever has most points owner and trainer get a trophy groom gets a trophy a nice gift card 🤷♂️. Instead of 12-14 horses half are first time starters lining up for one race .

The 🤡 show called HISA keeps on rolling . After handing a trainer 2 years and a $25,000 fine this morning . They propose a rule change this afternoon to first offense to 15 day suspension and a $500 fine …. And this is justice and making the game better right ?
Most people rush to some sort of symptom judgement and often miss the underlying disease.
