Surprised not many people on Twitter are talking about this. Big accident east of Denver last night as CZ #6 hit a Milk Truck on the tracks
UPDATE: As of 11:33 PM MT, California Zephyr Train 6, which departed Emeryville (EMY) on 01/29, will terminate at Denver (DEN) due to a recent vehicle incident involving an Amtrak Train. For further assistance, please call/text 1-800-USA-RAIL.

@PEREZRAClNG Toto Wolff to me feels like he's super desperate to have Kimi in order to not lose a "Max Verstappen." Whether or not he is the next Max, we'll see but I do agree with you that he's not ready.

@beatmastermatt I don't understand why people are so against immigration. It's what made this country, and it will be what keeps this country alive.

Some shots from my visit to Stadler today! What an awesome facility with awesome people. I did feel sad that they didn't let us take photographs inside. But the staff and employees there were amazing!. Oh, and quite a bit of them were excited to talk about @RM_Transit lol

@transitlanta I do find it annoying. Because not everyone can move to the Netherlands or Switzerland. In fact, it's bad if we all do because of the housing crisis arising because of it. We should not abandon North America. But fight for a better one.

Considering Frontrunner is a single route. I would say with the enhancements coming in the next decade. It's pretty much competing in terms of quality of service to Northeast and I would even say partially European services
State capitals with most # weekday daily roundtrip trains (approx; Amtrak & commuter):.Boston: lots.Trenton: 108 (+ River Line: 156).Salt Lake City: 35.Austin: 17.Harrisburg: 14.Hartford: 14.Albany: 12.Santa Fe: 10.Raleigh: 6.Springfield: 5.Salem: 3.Jefferson City: 2.

I think something that many people forget about Stadler in Utah is that they make locomotives and vehicles that are suitable for Trax. I hope that UTA considers using at least one of these models in the near future. Or at least #Utleg starts pushing for more Utah-made trains!

@ThunderWolf08 Alternatively news broadcasters will just use the regional rail sometimes. Happens a ton with Frontrunner

Some additional photos! In particular, the Stadler FLIRTs that I and other people would be happy to tell you about how they would be perfect for UTA Frontrunner! Let's make it happen!. #stadler #frontrunner

@growing_daniel "doesn't even take up any land". Bro, look at this map of SLC and tell me where the passenger stations are versus the Airport lol. The interstates take up much more land than the railroads as well

@RM_Transit I did agree with the video that many people will complain about things without actually doing stuff. However, as City Nerd put it, can't really make a YT career off of that. Your channel and others like Alan's inspired me to get active in city meetings. Wish others did too hwvr.

Happy to say that I will be going down to Texas for a week, mostly around Dallas-Fort Worth region. Looking for suggestions for transit that would be worth the visit that most people don't know exists. @TheRedLine_pod @MRC_SLC and anyone else?

@ThePrimalDino I like the new David Willis more. He's made me learned new things and gave me a reason to be excited for SLS.

@UtahDOT I'm glad there's a legal challenge on this. It felt very biased from the inception. Especially when companies that offered to help with trains or busses started coming out and saying that you overinflated the costs of the alternatives or put them at disadvantage.

I support Moulton's Bill. But I hate whenever anyone says Acela isn't *true* HSR. I think many states with smaller populations could see great success if they had an Acela-like service on existing tracks. Without needing to build new infrastructure.
@evansmith2020 @Beyonce Acela isn’t true High-Speed Rail, it doesn’t go over 180 mph 😔.

@the_transit_guy I know what point you're making, but Utah has a corridor with trains on it lol. Maybe Wyoming?

@OfficialJRat12 @tebuevd @philipvsavage @sam_d_1995 @teslaownersSV @boringcompany Actually, LA has made some significant progress. Sucks to have such a decentralized city, but when I visited back in January there was progress!

@KSL5TV Why did you blur the plate?.
PSA get a dashcam for your car. My wife and I were involved in a hit-and-run road rage incident today (we’re both fine) and the police were able to track the guy down because of the @tesla dashcam. The guy in the truck must’ve been very impatient with the traffic and decided to

UDOT: We're gonna build a brand new highway, widening the state routes, and build new roads!.UTA: Look! We'll build a bus in the 2040s!.
WFRC, UDOT and UTA with local leaders have created a draft long-range transportation plan for the Tooele Valley through 2050. Check out the open house TONIGHT (6-8pm @ Tooele County Emergency Management Building) & share feedback at

@DriveBikeWalk @Boenau @RichmondRCMP You missed the point. She would've have been in no danger if the driver noticed the right of way was occupied. The lights were flashing, she is legally allowed to cross. It's the drivers responsibility to give the right of way to the pedestrian.

@CBQ_Fanatic Forget the logistical challenges. I don't ever see an American-Russian Railroad ever being built, ever.

@DrChrisCombs As a rail enthusiast, I am frustrated that many Americans look at HSR when it's also just as important, or severely more important, That you have an excellent regional rail network that can take you to destinations in the area. Which most of America needs to improve on.
