@ChiriSerranita The Blue Bird bus has a Mercedes badge on it, which most likely denotes that it was built in the defunct Blue Bird plant in Guatemala, where bodies were fitted onto other chassis such as Mercedes, unlike US/Canada where bodies are fitted onto Blue Bird chassis.

@AChillGhost i got curious and went down a rabbit hole: since it's perfectly legal to import unaltered US cop cars (you just have to disable the sirens and radar) quite a few people do it. apparently there are reenactment groups and clubs who meet up for fun or events or movie sets lol:
