My cousin lives in Abu Dhabi & lost her husband suddenly almost 2yrs ago. I learnt that those grieving don't want to hear how strong they are. It's not a compliment. It puts pressure on them. Acknowledge their loss & grief as often as they need it. There's no timeline to grief.
