Important topic to study, good choiceπ@RCoANews. My proposed topic to @NAPs_RCoA wasn't picked this time but Perioperative stroke remains an underestimated complication with possibly devastating consequences to our patients. Hoping for future opportunities to study this. @nacss

I agree that re-evaluation of practice is recommended, but not based on this analysis! Too many assumptions and hypotheses.
New analysis by Sadleir et al challenges original NAP6 findings, suggesting antibiotic test doses may reduce severe hypersensitivity reactions in perioperative care. Reevaluation of current practices recommended. #Anaesthesia #allergy
