There is no way to keep the economy growing without backing British oil and gas.

The Climate Party has been saying that Britain must grab the opportunity and lead the clean industrial revolution since its inception. Other voices are joining us but we need to be clear leadership means carbon zero 2030 not the weak and out of touch 2050 net zero rubbish
Taking action on climate change should be cross-party and not used for playing party politics if we are serious about delivering emissions reductions across a period that will span several governments.

These elections have shown pro-environment parties and mayors who made net zero central to their campaigns made significant gains.
Reform have won 2 council seats out of 2500.
Time to recognise the net zero row back and kowtowing to an extreme fringe was a strategic disaster

The planning laws in UK need to made more renewables friendly. We have so much wind resource. This is what we should be encouraging not oil gas and coal.
This wind farm is on the Gobi Desert. One day's wind power generation in Gansu reached 227 GWh.
We have so many solutions. Implement them.
