Women haven't always been in the workforce. Men ruled every profession until sometime in the 1970's, when over 50% of women had jobs.
Men made medicine & the ethical codes doctors follow.

There's not enough ppl talking about this.
Before HRT, I could sweat for a majority of the day & maybe smell like a handful of clean pocket change.
Now, if I don't wash my armpits daily with antibacterial soap, I smell like an entire freaking field of onions went bad.

My spouse (HS Spanish Teacher) & I both worked together with our Autistic 6yo son's teacher. I honestly couldn't bear another year.
I've always respected educators (even before I married one), but now, I know there's no way a normal person could do what they do.

My father was paralyzed from the waist down. They threw him into a pool in rehab to test it. 😡
I'm trans, in therapy for almost a decade before I got actual help.

The family that my husband and I lost were not retired.
The 23yo co-worker my husband had is permanently debilitated with asthma and heart problems.
Our God-family is ages 29, 32, 10, and 9...all suffering lung damage.

That requires a minimum 4 years of therapy and then you have to have the therapist's and your doctor's signature to take to a qualified doctor.
None of this is covered by insurance. It's pricey depending on how big the skeleton is.

My spouse teaches HS Spanish in a low income school. It's horrifying how these kids are reacting. No one is helping them cope with all of this. He says it's common for kids to just walk out in the middle of class or not show up at all for weeks.
