In addition to the standard 100w siren, it now has a low frequency "rumbler" siren too, which uses a different frequency to increase diver and pedestrian awareness
@t_riple9
.....or the break up of the siren tone allows better driver identification when high siren usage is required. Sounds like a Bsc dissertation idea 😉

These will be fitted with basic clinical equipment only i.e. an emergency hand held suction. I'm sure as the roll outs continue, the load lists will be under constant review by the B&P and Clinical teams to meet the requirements for the role.

We have worked with specialists for the total infrastructure requirement across EEAST which will be large and a mix of charger speeds. This will take time to fully roll out so public infrastructure will support the needs until then. Fast chargers can put +100 miles in <30min

Yes to the price and resale but this decision was actually based on chassis availability to meet the timelines of the project. Painting them would have missed our window..... And it's quite nice in white 🚑

Errrrm.... A loud one 🤷 in all seriousness I'm not sure, I believe it was a RSG via the MCS unit as most RRVs tend to be. These are built to a national specification so are the same across all Trusts.

Thanks Harvey, glad you like the vehicle. We can speak to the supplies to see if any modifications can be done to this cupboard for future builds. More are going into production very soon so we might not be able to on this next run but really useful feedback, thank you

They have great potential for multi use vehicles in differing configurations. These in particular have been sponsored by NHSE for MH but as other vehicle life cycles come around certainty a good option to explore especially as battery technology develops even further

We have been doing small batch trials to develop and innovate for our fleet replacement over the next several years. You are right, this may be a challenge for the crews but the interior set of is a variation on a theme so each will feel familiar and clear cupboards help

The vehicles will carry AED in case of attending a c9 or for a deteriorating patient, like an officer vehicle. When the specification was being made, additional CE was not requested as this was not required for it's primary role.
