@pippipandaway So I have this with the day job. My trick is I’ve taught them that I’m probably covered in 💩 so need a shower. Take 20 mins to myself to chill, reset and regroup then with the day washed off and a change of clothes I’m then in dad mode and ready to listen to their day

@davidcarr333 I think this is two fold, 1st we see them raw, generally by the time they reach ED things are covered, starting to be reversed etc, 2nd we drop and go and often get no feedback on outcome, whereas hospital clinicians at least have some idea where they went next

@Hfran_Morkai @NatashaMDay Sounds like your frec4 was a little lacking then 😉 but I guess it depends on the trainer and how much real world experience they’ve had. Luckily for me I’ve got a couple of friendly midwives, one is dual reg para/midwife so I can always reach out.
