More villains with actual personalities and motives, it feels like the majority of them in s14 were just generic and didn't even talk to give you a gauge of what they were thinking, what they wanted etc.

@shitterly @brianorange218 @lgbtqiadhdoid No they don't, but perhaps there are infinitessimally small frames of time where nobody has a perfect view, giving it the chance to slowly stomp its way over. Not to mention it wouldn't be the entire city that could see, it isn't literally a city where nobody ever sleeps 😭

@brianorange218 @lgbtqiadhdoid Hence why it was heard stomping perhaps? If it hadn't constantly had eyes on it, it would have been able to cover that distance instantly. It took advantage of the brief nanoseconds everyone's eyes were shut while blinking.

@charlottiser @lgbtqiadhdoid To be fair, the closing montage in Blink shows a bunch of potential Weeping Angels, some of which clearly aren't stone, so it's not as if it's a fact they all have to be stone. The Doctor says it, sure, but the Doctor even now still doesn't know everything about them.
