It is not just about reduction but also about asynchrony like in whipple. Whilst the pathophysiology of PEI is even more complex and it is unlikely to follow the definition of PEI in CP.

I see more PEI with overweight and have dm and metabolic syndrome. While waiting for FEL- to come back, if any, you could add amylase to your blood request.
