Always have a great respect to GPs whenever i see such a case in Medical Assessment Unit.
It is very easy to act bossy with all the tests and scans in pocket but with nothing in hand and making clinical judgments, needs great courage and classic medicine.
When you are called to save someone from a life threatening bleed and; you manage do it, it feels like "mission accomplished" in choosing the speciality with an instant feedback when you have made a difference.
