In a cardiology admin meeting yesterday hearing about continued severe nursing/staff shortages threatening normal operations, needing to hire travelers at very high cost. I suggest ending the vax mandate and hiring back the staff who were pushed out and termed. Silence.

Pfizer's new Covid vax was FDA approved based on 10 mice so national uptake could be embarrassingly low. That may be why CDC is not posting real-time vax rates for the new vaccine on their website, as it did/does for the prior Covid vax & bivalent vax.

@DrNeilStone @MJtweetings It was well-understood by spring 2020 that covid was no more dangerous to healthy children and young adults than other ordinary activities of life, like getting in a car. In addition, when physicians are faced with unknowns, the dictum is to do less, not more. Certainly not.

@DrJBhattacharya Yes. The initial lockdown started a cascade of irrational fear and poor decisions. It led directly to all the authoritarian policies that followed. Once a population accepts the premises of lockdown, freedom is over.
