I turn 61, next week. I never fully transitioned. I can't say that I would have netted any greater amount of happiness by transitioning, and I've been blessed by events that couldn't have happened had I transitioned. I own the fact that I'm AGP, and I'm at peace with it.

Transition used to be a matter of social negotiation, without making demands for acceptance or attempting to gaslight people into believing that what we used to call a mtf transsexual was *literally* a woman. It doesn't justify medicalizing kids.

Zaya apparently was raised by a father who was in a religious cult. At 18, he legally and surgically transitioned from gay man to gay man who said he had received a botched vaginoplasty from Dr. Rumer. Then his father disowned him. He recently turned 22.

Yes to both. Puberty is a normal stage of human development. The efficacy of these treatments, especially but not only puberty blockers, remains unknown and they are therefore experimental. Minors cannot consent to being subjects for medical experiments.

An AGP doesn’t look at a woman and think, like most str8 guys, whether she’s hot or not. An AGP’s appreciation of female beauty is more nuanced. We focus more on how a woman makes the most of her looks, what works for her and what doesn’t, and her degree of self confidence.

The real problem here is that so many AGPs have horrendous taste. They dress in age-inappropriate, mismatched fabrics and patterns, they wear cheap wigs, and they generally look like they threw together their outfits from a second-hand store. It doesn't have to be this way.
I’ve seen this image going around to distinguish between “bad” gender nonconformity (AGP) vs “good” nonconformity (fashion).
But I bet if you took the outfits of the top row and put them on attractive young fashion models with pro lighting, posing, and photography, they’d be
