What a fantastic Biology Week! Activities included watching a video of a whale being dissected, an animal visit, a biology themed careers fair and a biology bake off. All proceeds from our cake sale are being donated to the charity Didsbury Good Neighbours. Well done Year 7!

We’re so proud of Y7 student Bradley who completed the Super 7 Challenge for World Autism Day. He took part in 7 one mile three legged walks & raised more than £1500, putting him in the top 5% of fundraisers. We've awarded Bradley a Head of School Award for his fantastic efforts.

This summer, our Year 9 students got their first GCSE result in either French or Spanish. The results are in...and they were sensational! 🙌
20% of students got the top grade of a 9, 44% got 7+ and 86% of students got 4+🤩

Last Friday the Alliance Française in Manchester visited

to teach French through song. Students listened to songs from French-speaking countries, studying the lyrics & their meaning. They thoroughly enjoyed the session which ended in a singalong in French!

rounded off Physics Week with a debate (albeit a rather ironic one) on whether the moon landing was faked. Well done to Riley, Suzie, Paige, Lyla, Mya & Disha who performed amazingly in their first debate in front of a live audience!
