Hi Twitter... have a video update for once, after all my talk about tech, optimisations, bugs, etc. Perfectly seamless portals with accurate physics, rendering and collision. Long objects half sticking through double sided multi-entry portals... who needs that? Me, apparently!

@DinoPatti Very unlikely I make it to GDC this year. I was planning to, but then other life circumstances came up for the foreseeable future. Maybe next year!

@mtbdesignworks @mvandevander I'm still looking forward to Miegakure 13(?) years after I first played it. My memory of what I played back then is still more interesting than most things I've played since lol

After 2 weeks of feeling like decisions were really heavy, I tipped back to “ah I don’t fucking care about what is good or right or whatever. I’m just going to make some shit.” And then after a day of that I was back to laughing maniacally about some stuff I’d made. Pure joy.

@AaronInfinitea More seriously, I like that I can test ideas and undo things without them all being hard commitments, I like the writing / style of it all, and the spells / characters are cool. So yeah, the everything pretty much.

I tweeted a week ago about deleting Bluesky then realised, actually, Twitter is the one that should go for a bit, because the problem isn't opening a site and seeing what people are up to. It's opening up a site that flips over to engagement bait tabs and ads constantly.

I’ve rage tweeted about this before and only get more angry at it over time because the problem also gets worse over time as all lights become bright LEDs and more people drive SUVs to get above all of the other people also driving SUVs.

Looking through a bunch of old videos of my work wondering what the hell I have been doing over the last several years.

@tom_forsyth Reading a bunch of this sounds comical tbh. I can imagine this being a sitcom where one of the dumbass characters keeps reading situations wrong and saying inappropriate shit, and the audience laughs and the show continues.

@bonzajplc Had a section of front yard overrun by weeds that was really irritating me over time to manage, so I finally got a whole lot of crushed rock to lay over the area again, so it is closer to where it was like 7 years ago. Removed allllll of the weeds and a dead tree first :p

1.5 cubic meters of dirt / rocks is a hell of a lot of dirt to have to move. Good thing I decided to do it on a 27 degree day. :/

@grunchy_hands And I still find some useful people here also. For me it’s more programming tweets than artists etc.
