@LessWasteLaura Split tickets are a nightmare if your train is late or delayed - it is up to the passenger to ensure any later/replacement train they get on actually stops at the stations their ticket splits at! Seen too many fall foul of that to do split-ticketing myself.

@DaveRob14051288 @ChrisHowles I do think though, that it should be common practice for preachers to look at the message they intend preaching and tighten it up; cut the deadwood; prune the speech... self-imposed time constraints add to the impact AND leave time for the Spirit to add things on the day!

@TimTennent I agree we should NOT see Church as a production, and we must allow Holy Spirit to change things up, including timings. But. Most preachers I've heard could EASILY have cut 5-10 minutes off their sermon and IMPROVE it! Tightening up the message for maximum impact should be normal
