Bro he just let the machine go. If you watch the handle it flies upward which isn’t what the intention of the machine in that scenario. He should have control of it. Regardless you should never let go of a machine or weights in that manner

I’m definitely not treating someone like they’re not human. I think it’s okay to say someone was being irresponsible though. Sure she handled it okay to her client after she made a poor decision. She could also just not book anything or save it for a later time in the afternoon.

Lastly, gyms get extremely crowded especially around 5pm-8pm times and some gyms are not very big and machines are closer together. She could very well be using the equipment that she’s practically standing on top of as well as being next to the fly machine. As much as she should
